What are the network equipment

Networking mean combination of network components which are Client side server machine (computer) and opponent side server machine. Connection of both machine was build by physical cable which was made by optical or fiber cable. After the physical connection we need to assign address for each machine which was mention in IP address. IP mean Internet protocol. 

If we want more than one connection mean we need router or hub for that connection. Router and hub designed network was called LAN, that was represented Local area connection.

Computer

Computer is all known simple system that was contain CPU , monitor, keyboard and mouse. Client side computer was receiver and server side computer was used as sending data that was called sender.

switches

Switches was used for connecting client and server computer. every computer has unique ip. Switch was intermediate connection between LAN connected computers. 

IP address

IP address unique address for each computer which are connected to lan. If you not understood IP address. I just explain reality , consider a street and 150 homes are there in on street. Each and every home has unique address or unique door no. In this session also matched on Computer Networks. Here every home as known Computer and door number as IP address. 

Router

Router was used to connect Multiple Lan connection which was used for connect more that 100 system and also above 100 meter connections. Router has 2 different IP ranges like 192.1.1.1. and 192.2.1.1. More than 1 lan connection may be stolen data to one lan to another lan connection So we can use In between 2 lan connection or Router side Set firewall.

Network Hubs:

Network hub was used within Lan connection Connect 4 to 10 system in local area. Hubs are used to transmit data to one computer to another computer with and without internet connection. 

cables 

Cables are main components in network. Because every system connected via cable only. Without cable cannot connect system each other. Cables are used both side like router and also hubs.
